Joie has a secret. JTAV Clinical Skincare founder and renowned esthetician sat down with Haute Living to dish on being an empowered female entrepreneur, how JTAV Clinical Skincare differentiates itself in a highly competitive climate, and lastly, her personal beauty favorites.
When it comes to skincare, Joie’s passion started at a young age. Her acne-prone skin led her to learn everything there is to know about ingredients, products, and treatments. She carried this knowledge with her and was inspired to start the JTAV brand, explaining, “[…] the more time I dedicated to treating myself, the better my skin became, and my passion grew from there.”
The rest, of course, is history. When it came time to open JTAV Clinical Skincare, she had to work hard, building her business from scratch, “It was […] a challenge to learn how to be completely self-sufficient while taking the best possible care of my clients. I had mastered my craft of being an esthetician but had to learn how to be an entrepreneur and run my business as the owner.”
As she learned to juggle her pre-existing knowledge with the challenges that come with growing a business, she knew one thing she wanted to ensure: every client needed to feel comfortable and like they were able to voice their individual concerns and needs.
Joie continues, “I strongly stand by my motto that no two faces are alike. I always try to ask and learn what the person’s individual lifestyle is like, and what they have tried prior to coming to JTAV.” For example, she would never treat someone who spends a lot of time outdoors the same as someone who primarily stays in the shade. Her unique approach is designed so that everyone who walks through the door feels that their needs are being heard. “We give extreme attention to detail and care.” No two clients have the same experience at JTAV Clinical Skincare.
