What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a non-invasive way to treat lines and wrinkles on your lower face. This injectable gel can fill in nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and chin wrinkles.

Treatments will also increase natural collagen production, giving your skin more youthful elasticity. Also, this treatment can help with acne scars and hand rejuvenation.

How does Radiesse Work?

Radiesse is injected through a small needle and placed under the skin. Immediately, this filler works to add volume under the skin. Over time, the benefits continue by stimulating your body’s natural collagen.* The gel is absorbed gradually, and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your natural collagen.* Since the treatment targets the skin’s deeper tissues there won’t be any damage to the surface of the treated area.*

What can I expect during the treatment?

Our provider will work with you to determine whether Radiesse is right for you and your aesthetic goals during your consultation. If Radiesse is right for you, a series of injections will give you immediate results.* Total treatment time is approximately 30 minutes.

What can I expect after the treatment?

After the injections, you may experience some swelling, redness, pain, or bruising. These side effects are usually mild and subside within a few days.

What kind of Results can I Expect?

Since Radiesse stimulates natural collagen growth (even after your body has metabolized the gel), the results can last up to a year.* However, depending on the location of the injections, your results may vary. The number of treatments needed depends on several factors: how much filler was used, where it was placed, and how quickly your body absorbs the product. Most patients will get follow-up treatment within 9-12 months.
